In this role, you will be responsible for creation of the vision for the ATS portfolio and ensuring that the product strategy and initiatives align with and support Employ’s overall goals.

Principal Responsibilities

Portfolio Leadership

  • Serve as an active member of the Product Management Leadership team, you will help to foster a strong product culture
  • Consult with the Chief Product Officer while leading and managing the ATS portfolio to include enhancing product value proposition and leveraging expansion opportunities
  • Collaborate effectively with C-Suite, Engineering and Design to create, plan and own our ATS portfolio roadmap
  • Portfolio evangelist to internal and external stakeholders including customers, employees, press, strategic partners, and analysts
  • Ownership and accountability of quantitative and qualitative portfolio performance allowing for prioritization of the highest impact opportunities using data to back up the decisions
  • Defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs and developing concrete points of view on insights to drive portfolio strategy and roadmaps
  • Leading portfolio roadmap definition and cross-product prioritization to ensure that resources are aligned with most important initiatives
  • Ensure team provides detailed, actionable product requirements aligned with value-based methodology and product metrics
  • Identifying strategic, tactical, and process barriers to success. Course correct as necessary to achieve objectives
  • Identify, evaluate and functionally integrate third party solutions when needed to deliver complete solution
  • Define pricing for new and existing modules or capabilities
  • Build business cases for new product initiatives
  • Laser focus on improving customer retention
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing to identify and craft appropriate positioning approach, ensure effective product messaging, adherence to branding and launch planning

People Leadership

  • Lead Product Team from planning to execution stages of the Product Lifecycle
  • Recruit, coach, empower and motivate a team of high performing product managers, helping to develop their craft and career paths
  • Set goals & metrics for your team that are aligned with company objectives
  • Have critical feedback conversations with team members
  • Be the ATS Team cheerleader who celebrates successes and provides praise for a job well done
  • Create and execute on actions plans based on your engagement survey results

Skills

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation & persuasion skills
  • Unabashed passion for delighting customers by exceeding their expectations with every interaction
  • Experience building and launching products from ideation through launch and revision
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Metric mindset.  Extensive customer research and data analysis experience
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of agile methodologies
  • Ability to design and build products in a manner that will scale with high velocity adoption rates

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable work experience
  • 5+ years of experience working in B2B software product management role, at least three in a leadership capacity
  • Proven track record of creating strategic visions and translating into actionable plans
  • Experience and knowledge in the Human Capital Management space (preferred)
  • Experience in Software as a Service (SaaS) organizations (preferred)
